Rob Sabin joins ProjectorCentral as new Editor in Chief

We are very pleased to announce that Rob Sabin is joining the ProjectorCentral team as of September 1.

Rob is well known to many in the AV industry, having served for the last seven years as Editor in Chief of Sound & Vision and Home Theater Magazines. He brings a new experience set, expertise in custom installation and design, and a lot of creativity and enthusiasm to his new role as Editor in Chief here at ProjectorCentral. We are excited to have him join the team and look forward to Rob's contributions as we move the site into the future.

Why the change in the Editor's chair? The fact is, we started ProjectorCentral in 1998, and I've been doing this for 20 years. It's been a great ride in an exciting industry with a lot of outstanding people. But I'm ready to step back a bit and turn the responsibility of day to day editorial operations over to someone else. As fortune would have it, we happened to have met Rob recently and were able to engage in some very interesting discussions. We decided he was the right man for the job, and it was the right time to make a move.

So please join me in welcoming Rob Sabin to ProjectorCentral; we look forward to working together with him as we expand our editorial activity and roll out a fully updated mobile-friendly version of the site, which is just around the corner. And if you are coming to CEDIA in San Diego next week, Rob and I will both be there and we look forward to seeing you there.

Wow, Rob joins PC. Fantastic. His departure from S&V (after the British invasion buy out) was a sad day. Now my man is back in the game. Congrats to all of us readers, we are the real beneficiaries.

This is a great news!! I was surprised by Rob's sudden exit from S & V magazine that I have been reading for 18 years!. I am excited that he is now a part of an equally important organization. I hope he starts Q & A session regarding video technology in general and projectors in particular. Can't wait to see his inputs at this site.
