Everyone is talking about Juan and how happy he makes people. My jaded soul's first response is "It's an ad for LG." But still, it should not detract from the happiness that video artists can bring in so many ways when they get creative with projectors and help the art of 3D projection mapping to evolve. This remarkable combination of dance and projection was created for Spain's TV3 charitable event "La Marato." They call this a vertical dance show but the wonder of it is lost in that translation. The video mapping comes from Tigrelab, a design and multimedia communication studio based in Barcelona and the amazing dance with light is the work of Sacude-- Spanish aerial choreographers and dancers whose craft blossoms at the intersection of 21st Century art and technology.
