Education Projectors Buyer's Guide
Networking a projector can save time and money. The projector must have either a wired or wireless network connection that uniquely identifies it among all the schools projectors. Using this distinct address, a school’s IT administrator can locate the projector on the network, communicate with it, detect a possible theft or lamp failure, identify the need for maintenance or troubleshooting, connect it to the Internet, permit the sharing of course material, connect a group of projectors to share a common presentation, or simply make sure that all projectors not in use have been shut down to minimize costly lamp replacements.
